Forma Axel boots are a short race boot, manufactured in Europe to CE Certification EN13634:2010, which is the latest safety standard for motorcycle boots. Forma were the first motorcycle boot manufacturer to manufacture CE certified boots and they're worn by Karel Abraham in MotoGP and Davide Giugliano in World Superbikes. Forma Axel boots are perfect for when you want proper foot protection, but when you want a little more freedom that a full length boot provides. The boots have a microfibre upper, specific race compound rubber sole, vented side protection to the ankle, injection moulded plastic protectors, a polyurethene toe protector and gear change protector. There are a number of features which make these boots really comfortable; the soft, polymer inner padding, with memory foam, which adapts to the contours of your feet, a padded collar and front flap, plus an air mesh lining with air ventilation pockets, to keep your feet from overheating. The sole of Forma Axel boots uses a dual density compound, one for the rear of the sole, where you need stiffness, for stability on the pegs and one for the front, where you need extra flexibility to operate the gears and for when you're off the bike walking.
