TRIP is Caberg's first flip-back helmet with a reversible chin guard thanks to a single rotational fulcrum. It is ECE 22.06 P/J certified (i.e., both as a full-face helmet with the chin guard closed and as a jet helmet with the chin guard open). TRIP is equipped with the CABERG SOS MEDICAL ID electronic device inside the helmet, which allows the helmet owner to enter their personal and medical data, as well as emergency contact information.

Compared to other modular/flip-up models, the chin guard does not remain in the upper position of the shell but rotates 180° all the way to the rear of the shell. ECE 22.06 P/J certified (i.e., both as a full-face with the chin guard closed and as a jet with the chin guard open) to meet the needs of motorcyclists who want to enjoy touring while wearing a highly practical helmet. The TRIP's chin guard opens and closes with one hand, and to prevent accidental closure, when open, it can be locked with the P/J lever located on the right side of the shell.

Ventilation is provided by a large adjustable air intake on the top of the shell, two air extractors on the rear of the shell, and a large chin vent. Channels in the inner shell circulate air evenly throughout the helmet.

The external visor is scratch-resistant with a Pinlock® 70 Max Vision lens included as standard to prevent fogging, while the sun visor, also scratch-resistant, is very long and provides full coverage, allowing for protected riding even with the chin guard open, whether the clear visor is lowered or raised. Replacement visors are available, including the clear visor, dark visor, and silver mirrored visor.

Like the DRIFT EVO II, TANAMI, and GP01 models, the TRIP is also equipped with the CABERG SOS MEDICAL ID electronic device inside the helmet, which allows the helmet owner to enter their personal and medical information, as well as emergency contacts, via their mobile phone and NFC technology, which all phones are equipped with. In case of emergency, another person or a rescuer can help the motorcyclist in difficulty by simply holding their phone close to the CABERG SOS MEDICAL ID logo on the helmet, viewing medical information, and sending a text message with the position of the motorcyclist in difficulty to emergency contacts.

The interior is made of breathable, hypoallergenic fabrics, completely removable and washable. The cheek pads are shaped at the top to facilitate the insertion of glasses or sunglasses. The strap buckle has a micrometric closure.

TRIP is designed to accommodate the Caberg Pro Speak EVO communicator, which allows you to communicate with your cell phone and your passenger, offering a bike-to-bike solution up to 200 meters. You can also connect it to a GPS and listen to music via your phone or MP3 player. To ensure maximum safety, TRIP has passed all the tests required by the ECE 22.06 regulation, even with the communicator mounted inside the helmet.

The TRIP's solid color versions are matte black, matte silver, and gloss white, while the TRIP LUNAR graphic version is offered in three color combinations with a matte and gloss finish.
