The solid crash pads made from PP impact-resistant plastic provide the Adventure handguards with additional protection in the event of falls and, in conjunction with the aluminum brackets and the Adventure handguard shells, ensure even more robust and reinforced protection. The crash pads are placed exactly at the point where the motorcycle first comes into contact with the ground in the event of a fall. The robust and abrasion-resistant material protects both the handguard shells and the aluminum bracket in an emergency. The crash pads, which match the design of the Adventure handguard shells, further emphasise the Adventure look. If necessary, damaged crash pads can be easily replaced.
