AXP AX1765 Skid plate Bmw 900GS (2024-26)

Skid plate for BMW F900GS - Weight: 2.8 Kg - Made from 8mm-thick high-density polyethylene plastic, this skid plate offers a complete protection of the engine block, exhaust, water pump and crankcases, including compatibility with BMW and SW Motech crash bars. The front and rear mounting systems are bolted directly to the engine block, with a wedge system for added strength. 8mm thick foams are placed on the inside of each side of the skid plate to prevent friction, and on the block under the engine to absorb shocks. HDPE is stronger than carbon and 30 to 40% lighter than its equivalent in aluminum. It returns to its original shape after impacts, allowing it to slide over obstacles. Another version NOT compatible with crash bars is available under reference AX1772.
